I am back from the states and very busy in the community. Since I
have been gone there has been an outbreak of what seems to be the flu.
There are about 30 people who came to see me today. Next week I am going
to check them all and take the most seriouse cases to the doctor. There is
just not enough money to take them all. Most of them will just need
tylenol for the achs and pains, and lots of rest, and a good diet, which will be
difficult. I was also able to check a pregnant women out, who is due soon
and here baby is in the right position. I am helping two pregnant women
out with vitamins, and still providing milk to a family. Before I left I
had been approached by more then one women requesting to get there tubes tied.
Becuase there were various women, I talked to the local government clinic who
said if I get them all together they will take them one day to have the
procedure done and pay for them. So we had a meeting with all the women,
and those interested will come into town next week to fill out the papers.
It will be interesting to see how many are interested. That is all for
now, any donationns would be very needed to help cover the cost of some of the
medicine these people will need to buy for there sick family members.
