I have been busy at campo these last few weeks, and have missed sending out
reports. I will include the last two in this report. I had a couple
no shows for appointments, which has not happened lately. Next week I will
be taking two elderly women to the doctor for complaints of headache, stomach
pain, diabeties related stuff. I have also made an appointment in my town
for a 2 year old who is not walking well. She has a extra toe on her foot
and seems to fall alot, she will see a surgeon. I also saw a sick elderly women
today who appears to be doing okay, but is not eating. I bought her some
oranges which is the one thing she said she would eat. I will see how she
does next week. I was able to buy medicine for a tooth ache and stomach
pain for two people, as well as pay for a dentist appointment for a young girl
who had a tooth infection. With the help of doantions from my request I
supplied milk to two babies who are very malnourshed.
Today I went to see a family of five who has a bad case of lice. We washed
their hair except for the husband who was working, and I will go back next week
for a second wash. Family is going to help wash all the clothes and
bedding since the mother has a learning disablitly which does not enable
her to do this. I also brought toothbrushes and toothpast for all the
kindergardeners in the commmunity. The idea will be to leave the
toothbrushes at school and they will brush teeth every school day.
